This powerful painting was inspired by a true story shared by Chad Robichaux during his time in Afghanistan as a member of special forces. Amid the chaos of war, Chad and his team encountered a young girl with striking blue eyes on a place they called "Chicken Street." He and his team did everything they could to protect her and other innocent children caught in the crossfire. Tragically, she lost her life in a bomb explosion.
This piece is more than a tribute—it’s a clarion call. It sheds light on the ongoing tragedy of child trafficking in conflict zones and honors those who risk everything to rescue the innocent. The silhouette of the rescuers and the haunting beauty of the girl represent both the heartbreak and the hope found in the darkest places.
This artwork invites you to remember, reflect, and respond. A portion of the proceeds from this painting will be donated to The Mighty Oaks Foundation, which provides faith-based recovery and purpose-driven programs for military personnel and first responders.
Additionally, Blue Cat Fine Art will donate a portion of profits to the No More Foundation, which supports orphan and foster care initiatives.
This is a limited edition release—available only while supplies last. Once they’re gone, they won’t be restocked. Don’t miss your chance to own this meaningful piece
